Post office on the move to village hall

A VILLAGE post office is moving location after the resignation of the sub-postmaster.

The outlet in Fiskerton, near Lincoln, is closing on February 2.

As a result, Post Office Ltd will relocate the branch to the village hall in Ferry Road in the village from 9.30am on February 5.

It will be operated by the sub-postmaster of Reepham Post Office.

Field change adviser Allison Wallace said: “After exploring a number of options, we concluded that the establishment of an outreach service will help to secure the future of Post Office services in Fiskerton in the longer term.”

Opening hours will remain the same.

These are 9am to 2pm on Mondays, 9.30am to 1.30pm on Tuesdays and 9.30am to 1.30pm on Thursdays
