FISKERTON — An award-winning pub, The Carpenters Arms, will be taken on by new owners Peter and Elizabeth Yeates-Langley as their first freehold pub. 

The traditional village pub, with views of Lincoln Cathedral, has recently been voted ‘Best Pub Food Restaurant’ by Lincolnshire Life and has the opportunity for further growth.

Specialist commercial mortgage broker Christie Finance helped the couple to arrange special funding for the acquisition.

Stuart Pawelczyk, who handled the sale of the pub on behalf of Christie Finance, said: “I am delighted we have completed on this transaction for Mr and Mrs Yeates-Langley and I have no doubt that they will be a huge success at The Carpenters Arms.”

Elizabeth Yeates-Langley said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to Stuart at Christie Finance, without his experience, hard work and dedication, we wouldn’t be owning our first freehold pub.”
