1615Man accused of armed robbery at village post office faces retrial

A man accused of staging an armed robbery at a Lincolnshire village post office is to face a retrial after the jury at Lincoln Crown Court was discharged today.

Anton Stepniewski ,26, of Sturgate, near Gainsborough, is accused of carrying out a raid at the post office in Fiskerton near Lincoln.

He has denied charges of robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit robbery on 10 February this year.

Today Judge Michael Heath discharged the jury of eight women and four men for legal reasons.
