A NEW MENU HAS DINERS FLOCKING TO VILLAGE PUB

The Carpenter’s Arms in the heart of Fiskerton has been taken over by Kay Cockram.

Kay has made many changes to the menu and has increased the popularity of the restaurant so much that booking is now advisable.

The Christmas Fare menu runs throughout December and the large 50-seater restaurant makes an ideal venue for your festive party.

The Christmas menu is a choice of starter, traditional roast turkey, top side of beef, salmon in dill sauce or broccoli and brie rosti, followed by Christmas pudding or banofee pie, coffee and mints. At only £15.50 per head it represents excellent value for money.

Due to demand, the Carpenter’s Arms is now opening on Christmas Day, offering a five-course meal including smoked salmon, turkey or roast ham, selection of sorbet, cheese and biscuits, and a choice of desserts.

Places for the Christmas Day lunch are limited and quickly being snapped up, so it is advisable to book soon.

To start the festive holiday on a high note don’t miss the Christmas Eve celebration which features one of the country’s top Queen tribute bands, Monarchy, playing live.

The Christmas Eve party is priced at £6 per ticket.

The Carpenter’s Arms is a most welcoming, traditional country pub which is well worth a visit. It also has the added benefit of ample car parking facilities.
